When you visit our website, we automatically collect and store information about your computer or mobile device and your activities. This information includes your IP address; technical information about your computer or mobile device (e.g., web browser type, operating system type); the URL of the last page you visited before visiting our website; and how long you visited the website.
Information You Submit
We collect communications you may choose to send us through the email addresses listed on the website. We will disclose your communication with members of our legal, human resources or support teams depending on the type of correspondence you send us.
You may choose to apply for a position at Omicron. If you do, we will share your job application with any of our hiring managers that might have a relevant position for you. Your online job application will be collected and processed by a third party, Greenhouse Software, Inc. For more on Greenhouse’s privacy practices, please review https://www.greenhouse.io/privacy-policy. Personal information that you provide will be stored on the Greenhouse applicant tracking system.
Your personal information you choose to disclose in your online job application will be retained for a period of 9 months after submission. After 9 months, your online job application data will be deleted. You can email email@example.com to have your online job application data deleted any time prior to the expiration of the 9 month retention period.
How We Use the Data We Collect
We use you the data we collect to improve our website, respond to correspondence you send us, process job applications, troubleshooting or support purposes and to comply with any requests from law enforcement.
We will disclose your information to third parties: in response to a valid legal request, such as a subpoena, court order, or government demand; to investigate or report illegal activity; or to enforce our rights or defend claims. We will also transfer your information to a third party if we or any of our affiliates are in involved in a corporate restructuring, such as a sale or merger.
The information we collect about you may transferred to, accessed from within, the United States, which may not offer the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. We take steps to maintain an adequate level of protection for this information in the jurisdictions in which we process it. If you are resident of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), this information is transferred to the United States pursuant to our Privacy Shield certification.
We store the information we collect about you for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which we originally collected it. We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.

In certain cases, you may also have the right to request that we erase data we are processing or to restrict or object to certain of our processing activities. You may also have the right to request that we provide you with the personal data you have provided us in a portable form for transmission to another controller’s service. EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework

(“Omicron”) adheres to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework Principles issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce (the “Principles”) in connection with our processing of personal data received from the European Economic Area (“Covered Data”). You may contact us about any question or complaint regarding adherence to the Principles as indicated above. If we do not resolve your complaint, you may submit your complaint free of charge to JAMS at https://www.jamsadr.com/file-an-eu-us-privacy-shield-claim, our designated Privacy Shield independent dispute resolution provider. Under certain conditions specified by the Principles, you may also be able to invoke binding arbitration to resolve your complaint. We are subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission. If we share Covered Data with a third-party service provider that processes the data solely on our behalf, then we will be liable for that party’s processing of Covered Data in violation of the Principles, unless we can prove that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
While no service is completely secure, Omicron takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. The servers on which personal information is stored are kept in a controlled environment with restricted access. While we take reasonable efforts to guard personable information we knowingly collect directly from you, no security system is impenetrable.
Our website is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. As addressed in the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and associated rules, we do not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
We encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided personally identifiable information on our website, please contact us immediately so that we can delete the child’s information.
