Information We Collect Automatically When You Visit Our Website

When you visit our website, we automatically collect and store information about your computer or mobile device and your activities. This information includes your IP address; technical information about your computer or mobile device (e.g., web browser type, operating system type); the URL of the last page you visited before visiting our website; and how long you visited the website.

The technologies we use to track your movements around our website include cookies, tracking scripts and pixels, and tagging technologies, which we may employ to understand your preferences, and to improve your experience on our website. Information You Submit

We collect communications you may choose to send us through the email addresses listed on the website. We will disclose your communication with members of our legal, human resources or support teams depending on the type of correspondence you send us.

You may choose to apply for a position at Omicron. If you do, we will share your job application with any of our hiring managers that might have a relevant position for you. Your online job application will be collected and processed by a third party, Greenhouse Software, Inc. Your personal information you choose to disclose in your online job application will be retained for a period of 9 months after submission. After 9 months, your online job application data will be deleted. You can email to have your online job application data deleted any time prior to the expiration of the 9 month retention period.

How We Use the Data We Collect

We use you the data we collect to improve our website, respond to correspondence you send us, process job applications, troubleshooting or support purposes and to comply with any requests from law enforcement.

Legal Compliance

We will disclose your information to third parties: in response to a valid legal request, such as a subpoena, court order, or government demand; to investigate or report illegal activity; or to enforce our rights or defend claims. We will also transfer your information to a third party if we or any of our affiliates are in involved in a corporate restructuring, such as a sale or merger.

(“Omicron”) adheres to the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework Principles issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce (the “Principles”) in connection with our processing of personal data received from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (“Covered Data”). The servers on which personal information is stored are kept in a controlled environment with restricted access. While we take reasonable efforts to guard personable information we knowingly collect directly from you, no security system is impenetrable.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. As addressed in the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and associated rules, we do not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
